December 3, 2019

Good morning!

Today is #GivingTuesday – a movement of generosity, sacrifice and charitable giving sweeping the globe.  This movement is anchored in the belief that when we come together and unify our resources and hearts toward giving, that we are uncommonly powerful and can make a tremendous impact on our community and world.

At New Birth, we live out this principle daily.  We are a church committed to having an impact locally and globally through our tithing, sacrificial giving and tremendous outreach in Atlanta and across the world. Whether it is providing back-to-school shoes for 5,000 students in DeKalb County, sending Missionary Teams to Asia and Africa, or collecting 2,000 coats for the homeless population in our city, New Birth answers the call every time and we continually demonstrate our Christian values and Godly mandate to seek, serve and love those who are in need.

As you know, we are taking a sabbatical from Group Therapy in December in order to spend this holiday season connecting and worshipping with our families as we prepare to walk into 2020 fully equipped and refreshed to do even greater works in the Name of our Lord.

Even as we observe the holidays with our families, the work of the church continues. I hope that you will take this opportunity on #GivingTuesday to sow into our church as a demonstration of our 365-day commitment to position New Birth as a church ready, willing and able to do the work of winning souls for Christ and doing the work of evangelism, outreach and missions.

The year 2020 promises to be a monumental year in the life of our church. We are positioned to move forward on many initiatives that will move New Birth forward and allow us to make progress on servicing our debt and continuing to serve our community. You can help us get a head start by contributing TODAY in observance of #GivingTuesday by giving under the following tiers: $220 or $20.
