Consecration Day 4 – Show Me Your “Already”

Consecration Day 4 – Show Me Your “Already”

Thursday, January 15, 2015

“So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.” (Exodus 33:22-23)

Have you ever felt like God turned His back on you? God showed Moses His hinder parts, not to disrespect him, but to reveal another side of Himself. Moses had become used to talking with God face to face, but this time God repositioned Himself. He was present, but He did not let Moses see him. He came by, but did not let Moses feel His presence. He kept Moses safely tucked away, shielded by His hand. When Moses looked up, all he could see was God’s back. Instead of the normal view, God showed him the backside of life. He revealed how everything had worked together for good. When God turned His back on him, He was showing Moses what “was” and Moses was able to write the first 5 books of the Bible by divine revelation of things that happened before his time. Moses wrote detailed accounts about events that he was not present for because God revealed to him what happened. It’s all God. It’s all done. God is giving clarity now of the “already.”

Father, I settle myself in your glory so that you can reveal to me what You have already done. I receive supernatural wisdom, knowledge and understanding in Jesus’ Name.

Lord, please show me Your glory!
