21 Apr Activation Grows the Kingdom
At one time, gardens were quite common. My grandmother would plant tomato seeds, collards and mustard green seeds. Once planted, we would water the seeds regularly, anticipating them bursting through the soil. With no ability to make them produce—we surely had hope that God would bless us and grant us a harvest. By the grace of God, when harvest came, we didn’t hesitate to reap our harvest to ensure nothing was lost. This is similar to the Activation of the Kingdom as we faithfully go forth planting and watering the seeds of the Word, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ—to heal and deliver. By doing so, we discover that “the Harvest truly is plentiful,” as the Lord uses us to bring in His harvest.
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. I Corinthian 3:6 NIV
Prayer: Lord, thank you for choosing me for your Kingdom, and to be a laborer in your harvest.
