Time Does Matter!
In Psalm 90:0, the scripture states, “The days of our lives are seventy years, and if by reason of strength they are 80 years.” When thinking about victorious living and determining priorities, our management of time plays a key role. Looking at this notion, the thought is often less of a distant future and more of a close tomorrow. Teaching us to realize the brevity of life means to know, recognize and/or understand which underscores the importance of numbering our days. Not in a
numerical sense, but rather making each day count. What are we doing daily to make an impact in our sphere of influence? How are we displaying the character of God in the earth—today? When we become aware of how we manage our time whether it’s with the family, friends or in ministry, we learn that time is a commodity that cannot be wasted!
Prayer: Father God, You’ve given us a seven day week, six days to work and the seventh day to rest. Help us, Father God, to organize our thoughts, plan out our day according to Your plans and to make wise decisions in how we manage our time. In Jesus name we pray, amen!
