Spend Time Alone with Jesus

Today’s Scripture Reading: Luke 12:32–34 Key Verse: Luke 12:34

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I have some potentially devastating news for you: that five-minute devotion you did while you sat on the toilet this morning did not make you “spiritually deep.”

You must spend some serious time with Jesus. No substitute for it exists. You may even have to take time off from work and sit with Jesus. It takes desire and devotion to put Him above all the other things clamoring for your time.

Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” A modern adaptation might also say, “Where you spend your time is where you invest your heart.” God wants to give us His kingdom, but we have to make a life investment first.

If you want to be deep, spend time with Him. Allow Jesus to pour into you the authentic gospel that transforms lives, sets the captives free, and overturns entire nations. After you receive His Word, then do what He says.

Pray with me:

Jesus, forgive me for not spending time with You—and I mean time that really counts. Lord Jesus, I commit today to spend time with You alone. It may be one hour; it may be two—I do not care. All I want is You.

Where you spend most of your time is where you invest your heart wow so powerful and true. This was a revelation for me today, sometimes I would ask myself is there a such thing as too much Jesus lol, but the answer is no. I am truly addicted to Him and His love that all I have been doing is getting involved and spending time with Him especially on the Sabbath Day. So thanks for sharing this devotion and to all the saints working behind the scenes, you are bless Thanks media team Love You.
