ministry immediately upon notification of the deceased. We
will obtain your desired date and time and confirm facility
availability. And will be on hand to assist you in anyway
needed throughout the process. |

Homeless Shelter Ministry

Ministry members volunteer at the Atlanta Day Shelter by
providing operations of the shelter and conducting spiritual
services. On third Sundays, they transport the homeless to
New Birth to attend worship services and afterwards we serve
a balanced warm meal, clothing, haircuts, showers, and
fellowship. We also operate a Mobile Outreach bus each
weekend which feeds and provides toiletry items, blankets,
caps and gloves to the street homeless and needy families
living in public housing communities in the metro area. |

A ministry of professional doctors, nurses, and other professional health care workers. Our ministry provides
health education, counseling, health surveys,
mini-presentations, health fairs and support groups for
those affected by chronic illnesses. The members also
represent New Birth at health-related seminars held by other
churches and the community. |

Women of Wisdom Ministry

|
The Women of Wisdom Ministry is a group of active women of
the church with experience, knowledge and wisdom in both
natural and spiritual matters. The individual must attain
the age of 65+ years young and have been a church member for
six months.
The Women of Wisdom are to be an example of faithful,
devoted and committed saints motivated towards the
prosperity and well being of the church and community.
The Women of Wisdom are to influence the membership to adopt
loving attitudes toward one another; as well as, being
available to the membership by visiting the sick and shut-in
and assisting with prayer for those in need. They will also
be responsible for the continuous building up of the
Kingdom, according to the Word of God. |

Visitation & Bereavement Ministry

Compassionate servant leaders offer care to sick and
bereaved members through visitations, cards and phone calls.
Provides a spiritual connection with members and their lost
loved ones as well as handling all homegoing services held
at New Birth and offsite for members, as well as non-members. |

Employment Resource Ministry

Provides job seekers, at various career levels, with access
to educational information and access to recruiters and
other hiring officials by hosting in-house job fairs and
career readiness seminars. Core seminar topics include
resume writing and interviewing techniques. And, we offer
participants a recruiter’s unique perspective and insight
into the hiring process. |
