Benevolence (Empowerment) Services
When we say “we care,” we’re not just spouting words. The Empowerment Ministry partners with local agencies and organizations to provide services to the homeless, the hungry, victims of domestic violence, and those who have been displaced. Other agency partners include food pantries, drug abuse centers and shelters for the homeless. Our goal is to provide resources and referral opportunities to both members and non-members.
Services provided directly through our Empowerment (Benevolence) Ministry are:
- Financial assistance with utility bills.
- Financial assistance with mortgage or rent obligations.
Empowerment Application Time Line
- The Empowerment Ministry accepts applications the first week of every month.
- Staff and volunteers review, approve or deny requests within 7 – 14 days.
The application process is closed for May 2012.
