The goal of New Birth Student Ministries is to equip students to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ, while radically transforming the culture. Volunteer opportunities include serving in conferences, administrative support, musicians, and other various roles.

Starting Point is our toddlers' ministry where we serve ages 1-3 years old. We desire our young students to know and grow in Christ as early as 1 year old.

The Children's Ministry serves students ages Pre-K4 through 5th grade. We help students to know God, love God, and share in God through worship and classroom settings.

The goal of Chosen Jr High is to assist students in their walk with Christ and to equip them with tools to better understand their relationship with Him. Students in our ministry are encouraged to understand their identity in Christ and grow their relationship with Him. Ministry activities include praise & worship, small groups, and outreach initiatives.

The Outlet College Ministry aims to foster a relational and loving environment where college students love, live and lead like Christ. Activities include leadership training, outreach service projects, and monthly worship service.

Individual/Family Care Services offer practical steps and a shoulder to lean on as we make our way through challenges to the victory God has planned for us. Services are interactive and designed to tap into and maximize the potential God placed in you. Volunteers serve as administrative support, education trainers, seminar leaders, and counselors.

Marriage Care Services looks to help others relate personally and within relationships the way that God's Word describes. Volunteers serve as small group leaders, administrative support, enrichment class trainers, and counselors.

Community Care Services looks to lead others to receive a greater spiritual desire to apply and live by the Truth of the Word of God. Volunteers serve as certified counselors, administrative assistants, and small group leaders.

Student Ministry Arts & Productions provides an outlet for our youth to use their God given gifts. Our youth are immensely creative and we provide an atmosphere where they can express their creativity while worshiping God.

Member Care Ministry are CARE ambassadors for Jesus Christ and Bishop Long in order to meet the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual needs of the congregation and community. Volunteers serve as contact follow-ups, data entry and administrative support.

The Bereavement Ministry is in place to serve and assist families with funeral arrangements and services. Volunteers serve as funeral support, visitation teams and administrative support.

The Visitation Ministry strives to comfort and encourage those who are confined to their environments. Volunteers serve as visitors to Nursing Homes, Hospice Programs, Rehabilitation Programs and Group Homes.

The Health Services Ministry consists of a group of Christian healthcare professionals and trained laypersons who seek to promote a continuum of health and wholeness within the church, community, nation, and world. Volunteers are needed to assist with Health Fairs, Seminars, workshops, various health screenings, blood drives, and serving the congregation on Sundays, and Tuesday nights (Bible Study).

His Hands Deaf Ministry strives to share the love of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with the hearing-impaired, by interpreting church worship services, activities and community outreach and to prepare the deaf members to lead others to Jesus Christ and experience the total power of God. Volunteers are needed to assist with workshops, conferences, sign language classes, community activities and Outreach projects; plus serve the deaf congregation during Sunday services and Tuesday night (Bible Study)

Stewardship Ministry teaches our members and non-members, in practical ways, how to impact every area of their financial life through workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. This ministry offers individual and group sessions on how to make good financial choices; in addition to steps for credit restoration. Volunteers are needed to assist with workshops, seminars, conferences, teaching financial classes and financial counseling.

Our Member Connection connects God's people back to Him through Jesus Christ and to train, develop and mobilize members with foundational principles for Kingdom Living. Volunteers offer the plan of salvation, facilitate classes, aide in Baptism, Baby Dedication and perform general office duties and data entry.

Discipleship is designed to foster your spiritual journey through small, more intimate groups that provide authentic family and Kingdom relationships; strengthening each other through personal testimonies, weekly study of the Word, and supportive fellowship. Our volunteers assist with facilitating classes as well as administrative support.

Education Resources consist of foundational enrichment classes that are created for our members and communities to grow in knowledge of The King and His Kingdom. Discover the principles and fundamentals to stay rooted and grounded in Kingdom Authority. Our volunteers to facilitate classes write and edit curriculum, arrange PowerPoint presentations, use marketing and graphics skills.

Provides job seekers educational information, resources, and access to recruiters and other staffing officials. Volunteers will assist in recruiting, facilitating classes and finding resources.

Volunteer Connection links volunteers and servant leaders to areas of ministry, special projects and office staff assignments where they can utilize their God-given gifts, skills and talents for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Volunteers give spiritual gift assessments, evaluate resumes, and connect members to ministries and other special projects.

The New Birth Outreach Department (The New O.D.) is called to take the New Birth community to work beyond its boundaries in unexpected ways and to provide for the needs of others. Volunteers serve as administrative support.

First Impressions is an intentional assimilation process to welcome guests to our services and ensure an exceptional New Birth Experience. Volunteers welcome visitors and assist with administrative support.

The Prison Ministry looks to offer Christ through activities such as Bible studies, financial seminars, field trips, block parties to those incarcerated. Volunteers serve as inmate visitors, letter writers, administrative support, and employment assistance.

The Evangelism Ministry trains leaders and churches in Evangelism techniques, as well as share the Gospel with others. Volunteers serve as administrative support and Clothes Closet volunteers.

The Prayer Ministry has the responsibility of caring for the Body of Christ through prayer. Volunteers serve as prayer intercessors in a variety of roles, and administrative support.

Student Ministry special programs provide additional opportunities for leadership development. Longfellows takes young men on a masculine journey which exposes them to life changing opportunities and valuable relationships.
