Additional Resources (Called to Conquer Bookstore)
Bishop Long’s message, “Life after Death: How to Keep Living When Someone Close to You Dies” is available as a CD ($7), DVD ($12), or online as an MP3 ($4.99) or MP4 ($7.
Care Note Pamphlets on various topics such as, “Finding Strength to Survive a Crisis,” “Sad Isn’t Bad,” “Climbing Up from Depression,” and others are available for $1.
The book, “Good Grief” is a recommended resource for finding comfort and rediscovering hope after loss. Good Grief identifies ten stages of grief, but recognizes that grief is complex and deeply personal with no “right” way to grieve; yet, it helps one move through the process in their own way.
The book, “Grieve like a Man” by Jonathan Fann is available for $5. Grieve like a Man offers men a practical guide to navigating the path of grief in a culture where men are taught to be tough. The author also provides insights for wives, mothers, sisters and friends into how men grieve differently than women and how they can come alongside the men in their lives who are hurting from a loss.
